Overview: In the aftermath of hurricanes such as Idalia, Nicole, Ian, Michael, Ida, Gustav, Ike, Florence, and Katrina, numerous communication towers were compromised, impacting emergency rescue services.
Solution: We activated PERT, equipped with resources, including microwave radios, antennas, transmission lines, hardware, and power equipment. The team constructed radio towers, navigating infrastructure limitations imposed by the storms.
Results: We restored communication towers, saving lives and reinstating vital connectivity for law enforcement, emergency services, and residents. We continue to support hurricane recovery efforts in the Southeast U.S.
